12 COURT REOPENING ORDER

15 This is the eighth general order addressing the Court’s operations due to the impact of
16 Super Typhoon Sinlaku. Recent assessments of the Court’s operational needs while recovery
17 continues have made clear that the Court can expand its current limited operations while
18 guaranteeing the rights and safety of parties and the public. Accordingly, IT IS HEREBY
19 ORDERED:
20 (1) This general order supersedes General Order No. 26-00008.
21 (2) The District Court and the entire United States Courthouse located at 1671 Gualo Rai
22 Road, Saipan will reopen to the public beginning Monday, May 18, 2026.
23 (3) The District Court will be open during the following modified business hours until
24 further notice: Monday through Friday (except federal holidays), 8:00 a.m. to 3:30
25 p.m.
26 (4) All hearings in all matters will proceed as scheduled as in-person hearings unless
27 otherwise ordered by the Court.
