12 COURT REOPENING ORDER
13 AFTER SUPER TYPHOON BAVI

15 On July 6, 2026, Super Typhoon Bavi transited the Mariana Islands. Subsequently, at noon
16 of July 7, 2026, the Governor of the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands declared an
17 “all clear” from the emergency conditions during Super Typhoon Bavi’s passage.
18 In view of the lack of island-wide power and water, disruption of telecommunications, and
19 ongoing recovery efforts, the U.S. District Court for the Northern Mariana Islands, located in
20 Gualo Rai, Saipan, will reopen to the public starting at 1:00 p.m. of July 8, 2026, and resume
21 its regular business hours. The Court’s regular business hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday
22 through Friday, except on legal holidays. The intake counter at the Clerk’s Office closes during the
23 lunch hour from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. and at 4:30 p.m. each business day, except for the last
24 business day of each month, when the intake counter closes at 3:00 p.m.
