Purpose and best uses
My Research is the private archive for saved research outputs. It contains Ask and Deep Research work, including recorded unfinished progress from supported newer runs, and accepted Agentic Draft results. Use it when you want to reopen an answer with its associated evidence rather than regenerate it. This is the menu item to check when you remember receiving a standalone research response and need to see the question, result, sources, or saved status again.
The list identifies the type of work and its date, then lets you open a particular record. A reopened result can include the answer and the evidence components preserved with it. Those details matter because a research answer is more useful when you can inspect its support and understand the question that produced it. My Research is therefore more than a list of titles, but it should not be confused with a complete record of every activity or every earlier unsaved answer in the application.
How to use it well
After an important run, check the saved-status message in the originating tool. If a save error appears, preserve the visible output using the available copy or download control instead of assuming it is already archived. In My Research, use the dates and question wording to choose the intended record. Read the status before treating the text as a completed result. An unfinished entry can represent a run that was interrupted, stopped, or had not yet been recorded as complete when the progress was saved.
For unfinished records, the interface can offer Refresh saved progress and Copy question. Refresh checks the saved record for additional progress; it is not a command to resume the model's work or automatically rerun the request. To run the question again, copy it into the appropriate research tool and reattach any original file that is needed. Reopening an old record also does not refresh the law or reconsider the reasoning. If current developments matter, that is a separate research task requiring an explicit new request.
Example and practical limits
Suppose you received a useful research memorandum about a fictional administrative-law issue. Later, you can open My Research, select the original question, read the stored answer, and reopen available evidence. If you need an offline copy, use the answer-and-evidence download where offered. That export is useful for keeping the result and supporting record together; it should not be confused with the formatted Word export for a generated legal draft. The two exports serve different purposes and contain different kinds of material.
My Research is private to the account's research history. Shared case work is organized through Matters and its access rules, rather than by assuming this archive is a firm-wide library. Conversation threads belong in History or Conversation, and saved definitions belong in My List. Also distinguish acceptance by an application's output checks from professional acceptance of a legal conclusion. A stored, completed result is still something to review. My Research is best used to preserve continuity, avoid unnecessary repeated generation, recover recorded progress, and revisit the evidence behind an answer with the original question and status clearly in view.
When sharing an exported result for review, retain the question and the completion status with the answer. A reader needs those details to understand what was requested and whether the record represents completed work. An answer detached from its original question can be easy to misinterpret.
