The dictionary entry provides source text, while the AI explanation is an interpretation that should be checked against the actual document and context in which you encountered the expression.
How to use it well
Enter the term or phrase and review the results rather than assuming the first match captures every possible meaning. Latin words can have several senses, and a phrase used as a legal label can carry a meaning that is not obvious from a word-for-word translation. Turn on the legal-only filter when ordinary dictionary matches are distracting.
