the Christmas and New Year Holidays
In light of the executive order closing the federal government December 24 through 26,
2025, the court will amend the court closure schedule previously announced in Administrative
Order 455.
IT IS ORDERED that the United States District Court for the Western District of
Wisconsin, including the Bankruptcy Court and Probation Office for the Western District of
Wisconsin, be closed on Wednesday, December 24, Thursday, December 25, and Friday,
December 26, 2025. Any matter or deadline previously set for December 24 or 26, 2025, is
continued to December 29, 2025, or another date set by the judge presiding in the matter.
In observance of the New Year holiday, the court will be closed on Thursday, January
1 and Friday, January 2, 2026. Any matter or deadline previously set for January 2, 2026, is
continued to January 5, 2026, or another date set by the judge presiding in the matter.
