15 This Order is amended in response to the adoption of Supplemental Rules for Social Security
16
Actions Under 42 U.S.C. § 405(g) to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. The Court has adopted the
17
following rules pertaining to all complaints instituted by a plaintiff against the Commissioner in which
18
the only claim that is being brought is pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 405(g).

20 THE COURT HEREBY ORDERS:
21 (1) No later than seven (7) days following the court’s notification to the Commissioner of
22 the commencement of the action, the plaintiff shall provide the United States Attorney’s Office for the
23 Western District of Washington (“USAO-WDWA”) with the plaintiff’s full name and social security
24
number. This identifying information is necessary for the Commissioner to obtain and produce the
25
certified administrative record. This information shall be provided to the USAO-WDWA either by
26
email to
[email protected] or delivery, by hand or mail, to “SSA Clerk Civil Division”
27
28 at 700 Stewart Street. Suite 5220, Seattle, WA 98101.

1 (2) The Commissioner is not required to file a Notice of Filing of the Certified
2 Administrative Record when the administrative record is filed in electronic format. Such notice shall
3 only be required in cases where the administrative record is filed in paper format.

(3) The effective date of this Order is December 2, 2022. The Court reserves the right to
5
modify this order from time to time, or rescind the order entirely, as the Court determines necessary in
6
light of experience.

8 (4) The Clerk of Court shall post a copy of this Order on the Court’s website, and shall
9 distribute copies as the Clerk deems appropriate.
