16 This General Order is being issued to update certain procedures for Criminal Justice Act
17 (“CJA”) attorneys. General Order 06-19 and General Order 08-22 are amended to reflect
18 changes in the Guide to Judiciary Policy. Henceforth, CJA counsel may utilize the services of
19 paralegals, investigators, and interpreters up to the prevailing waivable maximum case
20 compensation for expert services set forth in the Guide to Judiciary Policy, § 310.20.10(A),
21 currently $2,800, each per case, without obtaining prior authorization from the Court.
22 The provisions in General Order 08-22 pertaining to interim vouchers remains
23 unchanged.
