11 Pursuant to 18 U.S.C. § 3006A(e)(2), CJA appointed counsel are required to
12 obtain prior authorization from the District Court for any service provider fees in excess
13 of $800.00 per case. For the efficiency of counsel and the Court, the Court hereby
14 authorizes CJA counsel to utilize the services of paralegals and investigators up to
15 $800.00 for each service provider type without further Order of the Court. CJA counsel
16 and service providers shall otherwise comply with 18 U.S.C. § 3006A(e)(2).
17 This General Order is consistent with the recommendation of the Judicial
18 Council of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals contained in the Criminal Justice Act
19 Policies and Procedures, adopted on October 20, 2016.
