The offices of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of

Washington, including those of the Clerk of Court and Probation Services, will be
11
closed on the Thursday, November 27, 2025, in observance of the Thanksgiving
12
Day Federal Holiday, Thursday, December 25, 2025, in observance of the
13
Christmas Holiday, and Thursday, January 1, 2026, in observance of the New
14
Year’s Day Holiday.

In addition, in recognition of the exemplary effort and work performance of
16
the District’s court professionals throughout the duration of the FY2026 shutdown
17
of the federal government, and Executive Order signed by the President on
18
December 18, 2025, these same offices of the United States District Court for the
19
Eastern District of Washington, will be open, but operations will be limited, on:
20

1 • Friday, November 28, 2025;

• Wednesday, December 24, 2025;
3
4 • Friday, December 26, 2025; and
5 • Friday, January 2, 2026.

The Court’s CM/ECF system will be available for electronic filing
7
throughout this holiday schedule. Those seeking to make in-person filings or
8
payments on November 28, 2025, December 24, 2025, December 26, 2025, and
9
January 2, 2026, are directed to leave such materials in designated drop-boxes at
10
the Court Security Officer locations (guard stations) in the entryway of each
11
courthouse. The Court encourages electronic filings made through the CM/ECF
12
filing system, use of the electronic payment system, and use of mail and delivery
13
services on these dates.

1 The District Court Executive is directed to transmit copies of this General
2 Order to the United States Attorney, the United States Marshal Service, the Clerk
3 of the Bankruptcy Court, the Federal Public Defender, the General Services
4 Administration, the federal bar and post this General Order to the Court’s public
5 website.
