ORDER REGARDING DRESS CODE RESTRICTIONS FOR ENTRY INTO
COURTROOMS
On behalf of the El Paso Division, the Judges enter the following list of restrictions
for entry into the Courtrooms of the Albert Armendariz, Sr. United States Courthouse:
1. No t-shirts, body shirts, or muscle shirts
2. No untucked shirts
3. No low-cut tops or clothing
4. No tank tops, spaghetti straps, halter tops, or tube tops
5. No midriff shirts or blouses (stomach exposed)
6. No spandex clothing
7. Noshorts, cut-offs, or ripped or frayed pants
8. No low ride, baggy pants
9. No flip-flops, shower shoes, or slippers unless medically necessary
10. No workout attire or running suits
11. Nosunglasses except prescription
12. No shirts or blouses with offensive or derogatory language
13. No headgear including, but not limited to, caps, berets, or scarves,
with the exception of religious headwear.
This order supersedes all previous orders relating to entry into the Albert
Armendariz, Sr. United States Courthouse and will remain in full force and effect until
further Order of this Court.
