IN RE: GRAND JURY Standing Order 2020-17

This Court has modified its operations in the interest of public safety during the
Coronavirus pandemic as set forth most recently in Standing Order 2020-12 Second Amended.
The Court has permitted grand jury proceedings set after July 15, 2020, as long as they can be
conducted in compliance with health advisories. Standing Order 2020-12 Amended; Standing
Order 2020-12 Second Amended.
Due to the heightened risk posed by the pandemic, all grand jury proceedings scheduled
within the District of Oregon on or after the date of this Order and prior to January 31, 2021, are
continued and may be reset no earlier than February 1, 2021, unless otherwise ordered by the
Chief Judge.
The Court will vacate or amend this Standing Order as necessary and appropriate.
IT IS SO ORDERED.
