All documents acquired or prepared by the United States Probation Office and material to the
performance of its duties shall be scanned into the Probation/Pretrial Services Automated Case
Tracking System (PACTS). The document shall be imaged and uploaded into PACTS and the
original document destroyed consistent with quality control measures as approved by the Judicial
Conference of the United States. The imaged document shall thereafter be the official record and
document for all purposes of the Court.
