UNITED STATES MAGISTRATE JUDGE
FOR THE SOUTHERN DISTRICT OF OHIO
ORDER
Pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 631(b)(5), a Merit Selection Committee is hereby appointed for
the purpose of assisting this Court for consideration of the reappointment of Magistrate Judge
Karen L. Litkovitz for an appointed tenn of eight years for the Southern District of Ohio,
Western Division at Cincinnati.
Accordingly, an advisory selection panel composed of the following persons is hereby
APPOINTED:
Paul DeMarco, Esq. Vipal Patel, Esq.
Beth Bryan, Esq. Scott Ross
Margaret Castro, Esq. Karin Savier, Esq.
D. Jeffrey Ireland, Esq. Keith Schneider, Esq.

The panel shall review the performance of the incumbent in office as Magistrate Judge,
and consider comments received from members of the bar and public and any other pertinent
evidence as to the incurnbent's good character,judgment, legal ability, temperament and
commitment to equal justice under the law. The panel shall thereupon report its findings to the
Court no later than 90 days after the effective date of this Order.
This Order shall be filed and will be effective upon filing. A copy of this Order shall be
sent to each member of the panel named herein and to the Magistrate Judges Division of the
Administrative Office of the United States Court.
