Depending upon the nature of the claim (principal claim if more than one claim is in the
complaint), each case shall be designated as within one of the following categories:
1. Regular Civil
2. Administrative Review/Social Security
3. Death Penalty Habeas Corpus
Immediately upon filing, each civil case shall be assigned to the appropriate category by
the Clerk’s Office.
