Fraud Alert for On-Line CVB Payments
Please be advised a fake website is currently impersonating the official website for on-line
payment of fines related to U.S. District Court Violation Notices (“tickets”), and it may attempt to
collect your personal or financial information fraudulently.
The only official government website for on-line payment of a fine related to a U.S.
District Court Violation Notice is www.cvb.uscourts.gov.
If you are paying online, please verify the web address carefully and report suspicious activity
to the Central Violations Bureau (CVB) at 800-827-2982 or
[email protected].
Alternatively, Violation Notices may be paid over the telephone by calling the CVB directly at
the number above.
Efforts are currently underway to have the fraudulent site removed from the internet.
