FOR PRESIDENT GEORGE H. W. BUSH 18-MC-00004-51
ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER
President Trump has declared Wednesday, December 5, 2018, a National Day of Mourning
to honor the memory of former President George H.W. Bush. Following the lead of the executive
branch, the Supreme Court will be in recess, the Administrative Office will be closed, and this
Court will be closed. To the extent that any jury trials or time sensitive hearings are scheduled,
the presiding judicial officer will determine how those will proceed.
The President’s Executive Order declares that December 5, 2018, will be treated as a
holiday for federal leave purposes.
