OMNIBUS ORDER APPOINTING COUNSEL
Pursuant to 18 U.S.C. §§ 3006(a)(1) and (c), the Office of the Federal Public Defender has
identified a group of individuals who may be eligible for relief under United States v. Taylor, 142
S.Ct. 2015 (2022). Therefore, the Federal Public Defender is appointed in the following cases
to represent the Defendant in raising a Taylor claim under 28 U.S.C. § 2255:
United States v. Israel Baca, 18-CR-3067-KG
United States v. Kevin Maurice Brooks, 10-CR-1817-RB
United States v. Justin Brouillette, 15-CR-2737-JCH
United States v. Joe Pacheco Romero, 19-CR-1088-JAP
United States v. Peter E. Pagan, 15-CR-4078-JB
United States v. Alonzo Richardson, 19-CR-572-WJ
Defense counsel and the Office of the United States Attorney shall meet and confer in good
faith to determine whether each counseled defendant, listed in this Order or by separate Order of
Appointment, is entitled to relief under Taylor.
