ADMINISTRA TIVE ORDER
In the interest of expediting the payment process for lawyers who submit claims in
connection with an appointment under the Criminal Justice Act;
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that, unless otherwise ordered by the Court, on behalf of
visiting Article III Judges presiding on cases of this district, authority to approve vouchers
submitted to the Court for payment pursuant to 18 U.S.C. § 3006A(d)(5) is delegated to the
district's Magistrate Judges, where they shall promptly conduct the required reviews and
proceedings and, when needed, enter on the record an oral or written order stating the
determination.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that, pursuant to Rule 59(a) of the FEDERALRL'LESOF
CRIMI ALPROCEDURE,a party may serve and file objections to any order within fourteen (14)
days after being served a copy of a written order or after the oral order is stated on the record.
Failure to file a timely objection waives a party's right to a review.
