STANDING ORDER: WITNESSES IN CRIMINAL TRIALS
The undersigned has represented dozens of criminal defendants as a long-time member of
the New Mexico legal community. The undersigned seeks to avoid conflicts issues in which she
may be called upon to adjudicate a matter involving a former client serving as a witness.
If witnesses are or become represented by counsel regarding a case before the Court, the
parties shall disclose the names of the witnesses and their representative counsel to the Court for
in camera review. Unless the Court inquires, the parties shall not disclose additional details
regarding the representation.
