IN THE MATTER OF:
THE CLOSURE OF THE PETE V. DOMENICI
AND 421 GOLD U.S. COURTHOUSES 20-MC-00004-21
ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER
WHEREAS, the United States Marshal for the District of New Mexico has recommended the early
closure of the Pete V. Domenici and 421 Gold U.S. Courthouses due to a planned protest outside of the 2nd
Judicial District Courthouse across the street from the Domenici Courthouse at 3:00 pm, and
WHEREAS, the Albuquerque Police Department has announced street closures in preparation for
large crowds, and
WHEREAS, the anticipated street closures in downtown Albuquerque will not allow court employees
to leave the parking facilities in and around the courthouses;
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Pete V. Domenici and 421 Gold U.S. Courthouses shall close
no later than 2:00 pm on Friday, June 5, 2020.
The previous closure of the Pete V. Domenici U.S. Courthouse on Monday, June 1, 2020 at 1:00 pm
for similar reasons IS FURTHER ORDERED nunc pro tunc.
