PARTIAL CLOSURE OF THE PETE V. DOMENICI, 21-MC-00004-3
421 GOLD, AND LAS CRUCES U.S. COURTHOUSES
ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER
WHEREAS, the U.S. Marshal Sonya Chavez has recommended the full closure of the
Santiago E. Campos U.S. Courthouse and the partial closure of the Pete V. Domenici, 421 Gold,
and Las Cruces U.S. Courthouses due to planned protests, which has local law enforcement
preparing for street closures and large crowds.
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Santiago E. Campos U.S. Courthouse will be
closed Wednesday, January 20, 2021 for safety reasons until the courthouse reopens on
Thursday, January 21, 2021.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED the Pete V. Domenici, 421 Gold, and Las Cruces U.S.
Courthouses will be closed to the public on Wednesday, January 20, 2021. These U.S.
Courthouses will remain open for all staff and remote hearings will continue to be heard.
