ORDER SUMMARY )
The Court wishes to establish a simple and effective mechanism for maintaining, at all
times, an accurate, updated, and publicly available list of current Standing and General Orders in
the United States District Court for the District of Montana. To that end,
IT IS ORDERED that the Clerk of Court shall maintain, on the website of the United
States District Court for the District of Montana at www.mtd.uscourts.gov, a complete and
updated list of all currently effective Standing and General Orders. This list shall be called the
"STANDING ORDER SUMMARY" and shall be referenced by its date, and not by any
sequential numbering. Any Standing or General Order not specifically referenced in that list has
been expressly or implicitly vacated and shall be of no further force and effect.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the STANDING ORDER SUMMARY list maintained
by the Clerk of Court shall be reviewed and updated as necessary each time. a new Standing or
General Order is issued, or Amendments to the Local Rules of Court are enacted, and at any
other time when the continued viability and effectiveness of any Standing or General Order is
called into question. ~
