WHEREAS, a Merit Selection Panel having been appointed to consider the reappointment
of Phillip J. Green as a United States Magistrate Judge for the Western District of Michigan for a
term of eight (8) years, and said Merit Selection Panel having recommended that Magistrate Judge
Green be reappointed to an additional term of office; and
WHEREAS, at the March 11, 2022, judges’ meeting, all District Judges voted to support
Judge Green’s reappointment;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that Magistrate Judge Green is reappointed as
a full-time United States Magistrate Judge for the Western District of Michigan, commencing
August 1, 2022.
IT IS SO ORDERED.
