WHEREAS, the above case was assigned by random draw to the undersigned; and
WHEREAS, Administrative Order No. 20-CA-033 orders cases that include a challenge
to Governor Whitmer’s Executive Order(s) be reassigned to the Honorable Paul L. Maloney as
cognate cases pursuant to the approved procedure. See W.D.Mich LCivR 3.3.2(c).
WHEREAS, this action seeks to challenge not only an Executive Order dated August 3,
2020, by the Director of the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services regarding
Mandatory Testing, Preventative Measures, and Safe Housing for Agricultural Workers; but also
one or more aspects of the Governor’s Executive Orders; and the claimed authority for the Orders
of both officials,
WHEREAS with the consent of both Judges Maloney and Jonker, Case No. 1:20-CV-751
is reassigned to the Honorable Paul L. Maloney.
