ORDER
Movant was suspended from practice by the Northern District of Illinois. Based on this
Court’s Local Rules governing attorney discipline, Movant was automatically suspended from the
practice of law in this Court on January 4, 2024. Movant has been reinstated to the General Bar
and Trial Bar of the Northern District of Illinois by Order dated June 13, 2024. He moves for
reinstatement of the privilege of practicing law in this Court.
Under Local General Rule, 2.3(b)(v), the undersigned may reinstate an attorney when the
original suspension was based on reciprocal discipline, and when the originating jurisdiction has
reinstated the attorney. That has happened here and the undersigned believes reinstatement is
appropriate.
Accordingly,
IT IS ORDERED that Attorney Joseph R. Lopez (IL6186562) be and hereby is
REINSTATED to the practice of law before this court.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the Clerk of this Court shall serve a copy of this order
upon Attorney Joseph R. Lopez at his last known address.
