JUDGE RAYMOND S. KENT No. 23-AP-031

WHEREAS, a Merit Selection Panel having been appointed to consider the reappointment
of Raymond S. Kent as a United States Magistrate Judge for the Western District of Michigan for
a term of eight (8) years, and said Merit Selection Panel having recommended that Magistrate Judge
Kent be reappointed to an additional term of office; and
WHEREAS, at the March 10, 2023, judges’ meeting, all District Judges voted to support
Judge Kent’s reappointment;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that Magistrate Judge Kent is reappointed as a
full-time United States Magistrate Judge for the Western District of Michigan, commencing
August 1, 2023.
