OF REFERRALS IN RELATED CASE No. 26-CA-035

WHEREAS Magistrate Judge Ray Kent has determined that Carrill v. SJG Rental
Holdings, LLC, Case No. 1:26-cv-1165-PLM-SJB, is a related case under W.D. Mich.
LCivR 3.3.1(d)(iii)(A)(2) to Carrill v. HMJG Group LLC, et al, Case No. 1:25-cv-71-RSK;
WHEREAS the earlier-filed case is assigned to Magistrate Judge Kent; however, the
referral judge in the later-filed case is assigned to Magistrate Judge Sally J. Berens;
WHEREAS Magistrate Judges Kent and Berens have consented to the reassignment of
referral in the later-filed case;
IT IS ORDERED that, in the interests of judicial economy and to conserve judicial
resources, the referral judge in Case No. 1:26-cv-1165 shall be REASSIGNED to Magistrate
Judge Kent, according to the approved procedure.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that another case shall be assigned to Magistrate Judge
Berens according to the approved procedure.
A copy of this Administrative Order shall be filed in each case referenced herein.
