WHEREAS Magistrate Judge Ray Kent has determined Case No. 1:25-cv-679, Pounds v.
State of Michigan et al., currently assigned to Judge Robert J. Jonker, is a re-filing and continuation
of Case No. 1:25-cv-187, Pounds v. Charter Township of Kalamazoo, et al., assigned to Judge
Paul L. Maloney, and both district judges having consented to its reassignment,
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that, in the interests of judicial economy and to conserve
judicial resources, Case No. 1:25-cv-679 is REASSIGNED to Judge Maloney, pursuant to W.D.
Mich. LCivR 3.3.2(b) and (c).
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that Judge Ray Kent shall be the assigned magistrate judge
in Case No. 1:25-cv-679.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that another case shall be assigned to Judge Jonker,
according to the approved procedure.
A copy of this Administrative Order shall be filed in each case referenced herein.
