WHEREAS Magistrate Judge Phillip J. Green has determined that Williams v. Kent,
Case No. 1:24-cv-0767-JMB; Williams v. Kent, Case No. 1:24-cv-0769-RJJ; Williams v. Kent,
Case No. 1:24-cv-0770-PLM; Faith Community Baptist Church v. Kent, Case No. 1:24-cv-0771-
RJJ; and Dennis v. Kent, Case No. 1:24-cv-0772-HYJ, are related under W.D. MICH.
LCIVR 3.3.1(d)(iii);
WHEREAS Magistrate Judge Green has recommended that these cases be assigned to the
Honorable Jane M. Beckering and to himself;
WHEREAS Judges Jarbou, Maloney, and Jonker have consented to the reassignment of
later numbered cases to Judge Beckering and Magistrate Judge Green;
WHEREAS Chief Judge Jarbou has concluded that the later numbered cases should be
reassigned.
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Clerk of Court shall reassign Williams v. Kent, Case
No. 1:24-cv-0769-RJJ; Williams v. Kent, Case No. 1:24-cv-0770-PLM; Faith Community Baptist
Church v. Kent, Case No. 1:24-cv-0771-RJJ; and Dennis v. Kent, Case No. 1:24-cv-0772-HYJ, to
Judge Beckering.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the Clerk of Court shall assign Williams v. Kent, Case
No. 1:24-cv-0767; and Williams v. Kent, Case No. 1:24-cv-0770, to Magistrate Judge Green as the
referred magistrate judge.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that Judge Beckering’s draw of other civil cases will be
adjusted to account for each of the cases being reassigned by the Administrative Order, as well as
all subsequently assigned related cases.
A copy of this Administrative Order shall be filed in each case referenced herein.
