WHEREAS the United States of America v. Garden Bay Fisheries, James P. Hermes, and
Michael J. Hermes, Case No. 2:22-cr-14, was filed on July 29, 2022, and assigned to the Honorable
Robert J. Jonker. On August 24, 2022, Magistrate Judge Ray Kent determined the case is related
to United States of America v. Robert R. Jensen and Joseph R. Jensen, case number 2:22-cr-13,
assigned to the Honorable Paul L. Maloney. Upon the filing of the determination, this case was
reassigned to the Honorable Paul L. Maloney. In keeping with the Court’s practice, an
Administrative Order shall enter as both Article III Judges have consented to the reassignment;
IT IS ORDERED that Case No. 2:22-cr-14 is REASSIGNED to the Honorable Paul L.
Maloney, pursuant to W.D. Mich. LCrR. 56.4(b)(iii)(B).
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that another case will be assigned to Judge Jonker in its
stead.
A copy of this Administrative Order shall be filed in each case referenced herein.
