CASE PURSUANT TO LOCAL CIVIL Administrative Order
RULE 3.3.2(c) No. 21-CA-005

WHEREAS, upon recommendation of Magistrate Judge Phillip J. Green, Case No.
1:21-CV-82, Bruce Corwin, et al. v. Van Buren County, et al., assigned to Honorable Hala Y.
Jarbou, and 1:14-CV-1274, Wayside Church, et al. v. Van Buren County, et al., 1:19-CV-501,
Frederick Grainger, Jr. v. Ottawa County, et al., 1:19-CV-549, 2 Crooked Creek, LLC, et al. v.
Cass County, et al., and 1:21-CV-62, Mindy Calkins, et al. v. Kent County, et al., assigned to the
Honorable Paul L. Maloney, have been determined to be cognate cases which should be assigned
to one judge; and
WHEREAS, all assigned Article III Judges having consented, Case No. 1:21-CV-82 shall
be reassigned to the Honorable Paul L. Maloney, the Court being mindful of the need for the
exercise of judicial economy;
IT IS ORDERED that Case No. 1:21-CV-82, Bruce Corwin, et al. v. Van Buren County,
et al., shall be reassigned to the Honorable Paul L. Maloney pursuant to the approved procedure.

Magistrate Judge Green shall be assigned to Case No 1:21-CV-82 for any referred matters.
A copy of this Administrative Order shall be filed in the reassigned case.
