WHEREAS Magistrate Judge Maarten Vermaat has determined that Case No. 1:24-cv-
686, Cortes Pinon v. Little Saigon Plaza LLC, et al., is a related case under W.D. Mich.
LCivR 3.3.1(d)(iii) to Case No. 1:23-cv-333, Lopez Cruz v. New Saigon Market Inc., et al., and to
Case No. 1:23-cv-909, Lopez Cruz v. Little Saigon Plaza LLC, et al.;
WHEREAS both earlier numbered cases are assigned to Magistrate Judge Phillip J. Green,
however, the referral judge on the later numbered case is assigned to Magistrate Judge Sally J.
Berens;
WHEREAS Magistrate Judges Green and Berens have consented to the reassignment of
referrals in the later numbered case;
IT IS ORDERED that, in the interests of judicial economy and to conserve judicial
resources, the referral judge in Case No. 1:24-cv-686 shall be REASSIGNED to Magistrate Judge
Green, according to the approved procedure.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that another case shall be assigned to Magistrate Judge
Berens, according to the approved procedure.
A copy of this Administrative Order shall be filed in each case referenced herein.
