WHEREAS Magistrate Judge Sally J. Berens has determined Case No. 1:25-cv-994,
Gathing v. Kalamazoo Charter Township, et al, currently assigned to Judge Paul L. Maloney, is
both a re-filing of and related to Case No. 1:24-cv-1330, Gathing v. Kalamazoo Department of
Public Safety, et al, assigned to the undersigned, and both district judges having consented to its
reassignment,
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that, in the interests of judicial economy and to conserve
judicial resources, this case is REASSIGNED to the undersigned, pursuant to W.D. Mich.
LCivR 3.3.1(d)(i) and (d)(iii)(A).
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that another case shall be assigned to Judge Maloney,
according to the approved procedure.
A copy of this Administrative Order shall be filed in each case referenced herein.
