WHEREAS, Honorable Hala Y. Jarbou has taken the oath of office as a United States
District Judge for this District; and
WHEREAS the Judges of this Court have approved a plan for reassignment of pending
civil and criminal cases to the newly appointed judge; and
WHEREAS, the Clerk’s Office has identified cases for reassignment under the approved
plan;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED as follows:
Effective September 28, 2020,
A. The pending civil and criminal cases identified in the attached list are hereby
reassigned from Judges Maloney, Neff and the undersigned, to Judge Jarbou.
B. The pending civil and criminal cases identified as the Judge Bell Docket are hereby
reassigned to his successor, Honorable Hala Y. Jarbou.
C. The magistrate judges formerly assigned to the civil cases identified in the attached
list remain assigned to those cases.
D. Any new post-judgment matter that arises in any civil or criminal matter previously
assigned to Judge Robert Holmes Bell shall be automatically reassigned by the Clerk’s Office to
Judge Hala Y. Jarbou.
