WHEREAS, Honorable Paul L. Maloney, Honorable Robert J. Jonker, and Honorable
Janet T. Neff have taken the oath of office as United States District Judges for this District; and
WHEREAS, the Judges of this Court, at a meeting conducted on July 30, 2007,
approved a plan for reassignment of pending civil and criminal cases to the newly appointed Judges;
and
WHEREAS, the Clerk’s Office has identified cases for reassignment pursuant to the
approved plan;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED as follows:
A. The civil cases identified in Exhibit A are hereby reassigned from
Honorable Richard Alan Enslen to the Honorable Paul L. Maloney.
B. The civil cases identified in Exhibit B are hereby reassigned from
Honorable Wendell A. Miles to Honorable Paul L. Maloney.
C. The civil cases identified in Exhibit C are hereby reassigned from
Honorable Robert Holmes Bell to Honorable Paul L. Maloney.
D. The civil cases identified in Exhibit D are hereby reassigned from
Honorable Gordon J. Quist to Honorable Robert J. Jonker.
E. The civil cases identified in Exhibit E are hereby reassigned from
Honorable Robert Holmes Bell to Honorable Robert J. Jonker.
F. The civil cases identified in Exhibit F are hereby reassigned from
Honorable Robert Holmes Bell to Honorable Janet T. Neff.
G. The civil cases identified in Exhibit G are hereby reassigned from
Honorable Robert Holmes Bell to Honorable Janet T. Neff.
H. The civil cases identified in Exhibit H are hereby reassigned from
Honorable Gordon J. Quist to Honorable Janet T. Neff.
The magistrate judges formerly assigned to the civil cases identified in Exhibits A through H remain
assigned to those cases.
I. The criminal cases identified in Exhibit I are hereby reassigned to
Honorable Paul L. Maloney.
J. The criminal cases identified in Exhibit J are hereby reassigned to
Honorable Robert J. Jonker.
K. The criminal cases identified in Exhibit K are hereby reassigned to
Honorable Janet T. Neff.
L. All post-judgment proceedings (including motions under 28 U.S.C.
§ 2255, resentencings, and probation or supervised release proceedings) in criminal
cases formerly assigned to Judge David W. McKeague shall be automatically
assigned to his successor, Honorable Janet T. Neff.
M. All future civil actions alleging copyright infringement arising from
the downloading of music over the Internet shall be automatically assigned to
Honorable Paul L. Maloney, as cognate cases to similar cases now reassigned to him,
under W.D. Mich. LCivR 3.3.2(c). Administrative Order 05-008 is hereby
RESCINDED.
