The United States District Court for the Western District of Kentucky will be closed on
Thursday, November 27, 2025; Thursday December 25, 2025; and Thursday January 1, 2026, as
these are legal public holidays pursuant to 5 U.S.C. § 6103. In recognition of the dedicated and
valuable service rendered to the Court by the staff of the Clerk and Probation Offices,
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the United States District Court Clerk’s Office and
Probation Office will be closed for regular business on Friday, November 28, 2025; Friday,
December 26, 2025; and Friday, January 2, 2026. These offices shall additionally close at noon
local time on Wednesday December 24, 2025 and Wednesday December 31, 2025.
District Judges and Magistrate Judges may adopt individual chambers’ work schedules on
these dates.
