ORDER
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED upon the vacancy of the office of the Clerk of
Court, following the investiture of Nancy J. Rosenstengel who was recently
confirmed and will be sworn in as a District Judge of this district on May 19,
2014, that Justine Flanagan be hereby appointed Acting Clerk of Court for the
United States District Court for the Southern District of Illinois, to perform the
duties of that office as established by the rules and orders of this Court pursuant
to 28 U.S.C. § 751. Her appointment is by this order effective May 19, 2014
immediately upon the completion of the act above described and shall remain in
effect until a person is appointed to fill the position and takes his or her oath or
Ms. Flanagan is removed by further action of the Court.
SO ORDERED this 18th day of May, 2014.
