Stipulated Discovery Plan. At an arraignment, the parties may be asked if they are willing to
agree to a stipulated discovery plan. If such a plan has been implemented in the district, and if the
parties agree to participate in the plan, the magistrate judge may enter a standard discovery order.
The entry of a standard discovery order constitutes compliance by the parties with Federal Rule of
Criminal Procedure 16.1(a).
