(a) In any action sought to be maintained as a class action, the complaint, and any
counterclaim or cross-claim, shall bear, below the title of the pleading, the legend “Class
Action.”
(b) The complaint shall include a statement describing the class or classes on behalf of
which the action is sought to be maintained.
