Time Limit. A bill of costs must be filed by the prevailing party within thirty (30) days after the

entry of the judgment or other final order from which an appeal may be taken. A bill to recover costs on LOCAL RULES for the SOUTHERN DISTRICT of GEORGIA Page 28 of 60 Rev. June 2016 appeal that are taxable in the district court under Federal Rule of Appellate Procedure 39(e) must be filed within fourteen (14) days of the filing of the appellate court’s mandate in this Court.
