ORDER
Under 28 U.S.C. § 63l(b)(5) and Volume 3, Chapter 4, Section 420.30, Guide
to Judiciary Policy, a January 3, 2019 order (Doc. I) establishes a merit selection
panel to consider applications for a magistrate judge in Orlando, Florida. Because
layperson Michael Leinbach has become unable to serve on the merit selection
panel, layperson Martin Shapp of Indialantic, Florida, is appointed as Mr.
Leinbach's successor. A January 15, 2019 letter notifies Mr. Shapp of
Section 420.30.20(d), Guide to Judiciary Policy, the one-year restriction on a panel
member's applying for a magistrate judgeship.
