GENERAL ORDER NO. 51
LOCAL RULES OF THE BANKRUPTCY COURT
Pursuant to Fed.R.Bankr.P. 9029(a), the bankruptcy judges
of this district, acting through a majority of their number,
are hereby authorized to make and amend local rules governing
practice and procedure in all cases and proceedings arising
under the district court’s bankruptcy jurisdiction, provided
that the bankruptcy judges shall provide the chief judge of
the district court with advance notice of the proposed
adoption of any such rule or amendment sufficient to permit
circulation, review, and comment by the judges of the district
court, and provided further that the district court shall
retain full authority to order that any proposed rule or
amendment not take effect and to abrogate any such rule or
amendment after it takes effect.
