The Clerk will not include in the record on appeal the following items unless their inclusion
is specifically requested in writing and supported by a brief statement of the reason therefor:
(a) Summonses and returns;
(b) Subpoenas and returns;
(c) Routine procedural motions and orders, such as motions for extensions of or shortening
time; and
(d) Routine procedural notices.
