With the exception of weapons brought into courtrooms to be used as
evidence,
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that only Deputy United States Marshals and
Court Security Officers are authorized to possess weapons in the courtrooms of
the United States District Court, Central District of California. United States
federal agents are not authorized to possess weapons in courtrooms.
Any request for an exception to the above-mentioned provisions must be
submitted to the United States Marshal who will forward the request to the Chief
United States District JUdge for approval.
