16 Upon recommendation of the Executive Committee and with the concurrence of
17 a majority of all the District Judges of the Court, pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 631, the
18 Federal Magistrate Act of 1979 (Pub. L. No. 96-82), and the standards and procedures
19 promulgated by the Judicial Conference of the United States,
20 IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that Daniel S. Roberts be, and hereby is, appointed
21 as a Full-Time United States Magistrate Judge for the Central District of California for
22 the full term of eight (8) years from the date of such appointment.
23 Said term of Daniel S. Roberts shall commence upon the taking of his oath of
24 office as a United States Magistrate Judge, at the salary fixed by the Judicial
25 Conference of the United States, with his official duty station being designated at Los
26 Angeles, California.

1 The Clerk of Court shall cause copies of this order to be entered of record in this
2 Court and forwarded to the Director of the Administrative Office of the United States
3 Courts.
