13 The Court having determined that certain documents filed in criminal cases
14 involving a defendant’s cooperation with the government are eligible for filing under seal
15 without motion,
16 IT IS ORDERED that, when relating to a plea agreement involving cooperation, the
17 following documents shall be filed in the Master Sealed Event in each case by the Clerk
18 without further order of the Court:
19 1. Cooperation Plea Addendum;
20 2. USSG §5K1.1 Motion for Departure for Substantial Assistance to the Government;
21 3. Any Sentencing Memoranda that reference the defendant’s cooperation directly or
22 by inference;
23 4. Responses to sealed Sentencing Memoranda and USSG §5K1.1 Motions;
24 5. Sealed portions of Change of Plea transcripts discussing the defendant’s
25 cooperation;
26 6. Sealed portions of Sentencing transcripts discussing the defendant’s cooperation;
27 7. Rule 35 Motions referencing the defendant’s cooperation;
28 8. Responses to sealed Rule 35 Motions; and
1 9. Motions to Continue Sentencing that reference cooperation.
2 This General Order does not preclude a motion to unseal any document listed above.
