When a case set for trial is settled out of court, it shall be the duty of counsel to so inform the Clerk
and the Court as soon as practicable. In a civil case, the court may require counsel who violate this rule to
pay the per diem of all jurors who attend court unnecessarily because of counsel's delay in notifying
the Clerk of the settlement.
